Welcome to GCI’s April 17th full moon synchronized Care Focus. In order for GCI members around the world to participate at a convenient time, we have chosen noon, 8 p.m. and 4 a.m. Pacific Daylight Time ( GMT/UTC minus 7 hours ) when GCI members in the Global Care Room can do the Care Focus together.*
The nuclear reactors in Japan are still being brought under control and the radioactive evacuation area around the plant has been expanded. For this Care Focus, we will continue to send our heart-focused care, compassion and comfort to the Japanese people who are also still experiencing strong earthquake aftershocks, and to the people of Libya and Ivory Coast where civil wars continue.
Remember it’s important during these times to maintain our personal balance and self-care, as the news coming from Japan, Libya, Ivory Coast, and other areas can seem hopeful one day and a set back the next. Hold the intention to maintain balance, ease and patience, while maintaining energetic poise in response to the modulating waves of media broadcasts. We all are aware that media can be used positively for increasing our awareness so that we can help – or it can amplify our own fears, internal drama and stress levels which depletes our personal well-being and our capacity for holding the light for others in need. When we find ourselves overidentified with a situation, we have to remember that we have a choice in how we respond. Make a heartfelt commitment to maintain balanced care and emotional regulation, and reboot your commitment when needed. It’s helpful at times to breathe calm and balance into your system or use any technique that helps to balance and renew your energy. As we each do this, our personal and synchronized Care Focuses can become more heart-coherent and effective, while reducing stress.
We’ll do this April full moon synchronized Care Focus together for fifteen minutes. It’s fine to stop sooner or continue longer if you choose. There will be music playing or you can mute the music if you prefer.
Care Focus – Japan, Libya and Ivory Coast
Let’s send unconditional love, compassion, care and relief to Japan, Libya, Ivory Coast and other regions experiencing high levels of stress. While doing this, have a genuine heart intention for the highest best outcome guided by the spirit of love and care.

It would be effective for the planet if we individually continue to do this Care Focus often in the Global Care Room. Use your own heart discernment on how long and when you participate. Remember to send your heart-focused care to other stressful situations taking place throughout the world. Connect in the heart with all groups and individuals supporting the planet with love and compassion. This is a time that calls for us to maintain mission alignment and inner poise.
